I like this work by Russell. I can see a huge amount of potential here. Pale type would be good, like a really effective printed watermark. I can see in my minds eye a lean version – lined only, but with lines going horizontal, vertical, at a 45 degree angle, in sine waves and in not too steep zig zags on consecutive pages. Following on from one of Russell’s examples, one with “Q. What would X do now?”, replacing X with the name of an influential person in my life – a different person for each page.
